Window & Popup

Windows & Popups widgets help you emphasize important information to end-users. They have practically the same properties and methods as desktop components, making interactions with users very easy.

Webix Window

Popup is a Javascript widget that allows the creation of alerts for a user. Any custom HTML object (image, text, etc.) or another Webix widget can be inserted into Webix Popup.

Common Features

Modal/Modaless State

With Webix Windows and Popups you can choose between two states of widgets: modal and modeless. Modal window/popup is a child window that requires users to interact with it before allowing the application to continue. Modeless window/popup is a secondary (child) window that stays active on the user’s screen until it’s dismissed. It can be minimized or hidden behind other windows.

Browsers Compatibility

Webix Windows & Popups widgets are supported by major modern browsers like IE10, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari.

Ready for Touch Devices

These widgets can be used on mobile apps that operate and look great on popular touch devices.

Styling with Standard CSS

CSS fully defines the appearance of Windows & Popups widgets, which makes it easy to control the widgets’ appearance at all times.
